Terms and Conditions

1. Terms and conditions of accommodation
Guesthouse Lucie (hereinafter referred to as the "Guesthouse") is entitled to accommodate such a client who duly applies. For this purpose, the client must present an ID card or other valid ID, passport or other travel document within the meaning of the Act on the Residence of Foreigners in the Czech Republic, at the reception of the hotel. Any client who is not a citizen of the Czech Republic (foreigner) is obliged to fill in and hand in at the reception the official document on reporting of stay, presented to the client on arrival by the employee of the guesthouse, with all the required information truthfully and completely. On the basis of the ordered accommodation, the client can check in on the day of arrival between 14:00 and 20:00. Until this time the guesthouse will reserve the room for the client, unless otherwise requested in the order and confirmed by the guesthouse. The client who insists on accommodation before 14:00 is obliged to pay the price for early arrival according to the valid price list, unless the guesthouse has agreed otherwise with the client in advance. The guesthouse reserves the right to refuse to accommodate the client before 14:00 if there are no available rooms/apartments. The client shall check out by 10:00 a.m. at the latest (does not apply to special packages where the exact time is defined), by which time the room will be vacated, unless otherwise agreed individually and in advance. If the guest does not vacate the room by 10:00 a.m., the guesthouse may charge the guest for the entire following day, unless otherwise agreed in advance; this does not affect the termination of the accommodation relationship between the guesthouse and the guest on the date on which the guest should have properly vacated the room (end of stay date). If the guest fails to vacate the room, the guesthouse reserves the right to deny the guest access to the room and in the event of unpaid payment for the stay or other debts from the guest, the guesthouse reserves the right to exercise a right of retention on movable property brought into the room by the guest. The room is considered vacated after the client has removed all his/her belongings from the room, handed over the keys at the reception and notified the guesthouse employee that he/she is checking out of the accommodation. The guest house reserves the right to check the room inventory (furniture, appliances, forgotten items). If the client requests an extension, the guest house may offer him/her another room at a different price than the original one. In this case, the client is not entitled to accommodation in the room in which he/she was originally accommodated, nor to accommodation in another room of the guesthouse, if this is not possible for capacity or operational reasons of the guesthouse. The guesthouse reserves the right to offer the client a different accommodation than the one originally agreed upon in exceptional cases if it differs significantly from the confirmed order.

The guesthouse provides services to its clients to the extent that they have been mutually agreed upon and to the extent that the relevant applicable legislation stipulates. The client is obliged to pay for the accommodation and services provided in accordance with the current price list of the guesthouse no later than the day of the end of the stay. The guesthouse reserves the right not to accommodate the guest if the guest's clothing or behaviour does not conform to good manners, the guest is obviously under the influence of alcohol or psychotropic substances or the guest or his/her clothing or luggage is excessively soiled. The guesthouse reserves the right not to accommodate a client who is on the list of persons not paying for accommodation services, as well as not to accommodate a client who uses/manipulates our reservation system in order to obtain a higher discount for accommodation. Furthermore, the guesthouse reserves the right to refuse to accommodate a client at the discretion of the director or owner of the guesthouse, without giving any further reason. The client is obliged to adapt his/her stay in the guesthouse and all its facilities and operations to his/her current state of health and physical and mental abilities.

2. Payment for accommodation and cancellation fees
The client is obliged to pay the price for accommodation and services provided in accordance with the current price list of the guesthouse, but no later than on the day of the end of the stay on the basis of the presentation of the bill, together with an account of the deposits provided by the client. For stays longer than 7 days, the client is obliged to pay for all or part of the stay no later than the seventh day of the stay, unless otherwise agreed between the guesthouse and the client. The price list for accommodation and other services is available at the reception of the guesthouse. The guesthouse reserves the right to require from the client the identification data of the credit card, and on the day of arrival a deposit in the amount covering the total amount of accommodation, and a deposit of 1.000,-CZK (approx. 35 EUR) for possible future expenses in the guesthouse or damage or loss of room equipment. The reservation becomes binding for the guesthouse only after the receipt of the payment of the guarantee for the stay in the form of a credit card detail or a guarantee from a third party (travel agency, company, etc.). Cancellation is subject to cancellation fees according to the hotel's current price list, see below Cancellation policy. In the event that the reservation is not properly cancelled and the client does not show up for the start of the accommodation, or the start date of the accommodation is not moved to a later date in the booked length of stay, the client is obliged to pay a cancellation fee of 100% of the first night's accommodation according to the confirmed parameters of his reservation. n the event that the client fails to pay the price for accommodation upon request, the guesthouse is entitled to terminate the client's stay, prevent access to the guesthouse building and refuse to provide further services. The guesthouse is also entitled to terminate the stay of such a client who behaves in violation of these accommodation rules or good manners. In the event of a shortened stay by the client, the hotel has the right to charge the client the full amount of the agreed price for the entire booked length of stay. Proper cancellation of the reservation must be communicated in writing, electronically and may be made no later than 10:00 a.m. on the day that is the second day before the day on which the accommodation was due to start. In the event of damage/loss or destruction of the guesthouse property, the guesthouse is entitled to compensation. The value of the room inventory is stated in a written record located in each room. It is in the client's interest to check the equipment in the room upon arrival or inform the guesthouse reception on the day of arrival in case of loss/damage to the equipment in the room. The client, as the legal guardian, is responsible for damages caused by minors for whom he/she is responsible, as well as for damages caused by persons or animals who are on the premises and whose stay is made possible by the client. The guest house also reserves the right to refuse to wash bed linen that is excessively soiled or damaged. The compensation for damages will be claimed in the full amount of the purchase price related to the laundry.
